Meridian Construction acquired by employee

Company will operate under new name, expand services

April 11, 2025
Journal of Business Staff

Spokane-based Meridian Construction & Development Inc. has changed hands and will operate under a new name.

Isaiah Clow, who has worked at Meridian Construction since 2018, most recently as vice president, acquired the construction company from Mark D’Agostino, who founded it in 1999.

In the coming weeks, Meridian Construction will begin operating as Cornerstone Construction & Development Inc., according to a press release.

“We’ve been working toward this plan,” says Clow, who has assumed the title of president.

Clow declines to disclose the terms of the acquisition, which was finalized April 1.

Plans are underway to unveil new branding, expand service offerings, and introduce new initiatives, according to a press release from the company.

Clow declines to provide further details at this time about the expanded services and new initiatives, but operations are expected to continue uninterrupted.

Meridian Construction is located at 10 S. Grant, just east of downtown Spokane, and has about 25 employees.
