The YWCA Spokane board of directors has launched a nationwide search for her replacement.
Hauck began working at YWCA Spokane in 2011 as the organization’s director of finance. In 2014, she was promoted to chief financial officer.
She stepped in as interim CEO during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2021, was confirmed as the permanent CEO.
"During my time with YWCA Spokane, I have witnessed tremendous growth in how we serve our community and the thousands of people who access our services each year," says Hauck in a press release. "While I will miss being part of such a dynamic and passionate team, I am ready to pass the torch, confident in our board, staff, and community.”
During Hauck’s tenure at YWCA Spokane, the nonprofit’s staff grew to 95 from 60, and the budget has more than tripled in size, to $10.1 million from $3 million. Also during her tenure, YWCA Spokane expanded services, including mental health therapy, legal advocacy, and free preschool.
