The Dave & Buster’s Spokane Valley location is scheduled to open Aug. 11.

The Coppell, Texas-based company is looking to hire over 160 employees to work at the nearly 24,000-square-foot entertainment and restaurant hub, a press release sent on behalf of Dave & Buster’s states.

The all-ages entertainment venue will include over 100 arcade games, a chef-crafted food menu, and a sports bar that features a 40-foot, high-definition TV screen.

Employment opportunities include front- and back-of-house positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game technicians, and more.

Spokane Valley-based Walker Construction Inc. broke ground in October at the Dave & Buster’s site, located at 13921 E. Mansfield, north of Interstate 90 near the Spokane Valley Mall.

Spokane County records show Dave & Buster’s of Washington LLC acquired the roughly 5-acre property in October for about $2.9 million from Centennial Properties-Mirabeau LLC—an affiliate of Cowles Co.

Founded in 1982, Dave & Buster’s Entertainment Inc. is the owner and operator of 236 venues under two brands: Dave & Buster’s and Main Event.

The company has 175 Dave & Buster’s locations in 43 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada. It also has 61 Main Event locations in 22 U.S. states.
