Cinema Quattro, a boutique movie house rising in Liberty Lake's River District, is underway and expected to be complete in fall 2026.
| Wood Studio LLCCinema Quattro, a four-screen boutique theater in Liberty Lake’s River District, is under construction and expected to open by fall 2026, says founder and creative director Jeremy Whittington.
“This is going to be a movie house that encompasses a lot more than just film,” Whittington says. “You’re going to get a whole experience from the time you walk in the door.”
Located at 21790 E. Indiana within NoLL, a 40-acre mixed-use urban town center named for North Liberty Lake, Cinema Quattro is designed as a "night out destination," he says.
The movie house will feature four cinema rooms, each with luxury reclining seats for 45 guests. Three of the cinemas will offer traditional high-end laser projection, while the fourth cinema will feature a 23-foot LED wall that can be used in various formats, he says.
“Spokane poet laureate Mery Smith is going to be hosting poetry slams on a regular basis,” he says. “We have musicians lined up to come and play.”
Liberty Lake-based Greenstone Corp. is developing the movie theater. The contractor on the project is Chapman Homes LLC, of Liberty Lake.
The project is valued at just under $2 million, according to permit information on file with the city of Liberty Lake.
In addition to film and live programming, Cinema Quattro will focus on experience, atmosphere, and community, Whittington says.
The lobby space will feature a rotating art exhibit with food and drink service designed to enhance patrons' experiences, he says. The cinema’s branding is built around the “Q” theme with the tagline “Meet me at the Q.” A concessions program will be called SnaQ; separately, a curated wine, beer, spirits, and specialty drinks bar will be named DrinQ.
“People will be able to take their food and beverages into the cinema and have their wine and upscale foods while they’re watching films in luxury recliners,” Whittington says.
