Browne’s Boomtown Bistro LLC, a new breakfast and lunch nook, is now open in a converted Browne’s Addition Victorian-style home that was built in 1901.

Browne’s Boomtown Bistro owner Terri Adolfson says her husband, Jim Adolfson, is one of three chefs delivering a smorgasbord of culinary classics. Jim, who previously owned Spokane’s Ferguson’s Cafe for 10 years, will mirror breakfast foods served at the iconic spot on Garland Avenue. 

Browne’s Boomtown Bistro also has burgers and sandwiches, including pulled pork and brisket.

Located at 1924 W. Pacific, the building has an outside patio with an 80-person seating capacity. Forty people can be seated on the main floor and around 30 people can be seated on the top floor, which has a beer, wine and espresso bar, with Thomas Hammer Coffee as the roaster. The couple handled the minor remodel to the 5,000-square-foot structure, which involved mostly repainting and redecorating.

The bistro opened on Feb. 12, but Terri says the fickle weather has been an obstacle to foot traffic. Browne’s Boomtown Bistro is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and the house can be rented in the evenings for catered events.

Jim Adolfson and Bob Adolfson, owner of Glover Mansion Events LLC, are brothers.
