Real Estate Transactions and Other Business Moves in the Inland Northwest

Red Lion River Inn, at 700 N. Division, has been renamed the Ruby River Hotel. The name change follows Red Lion Hotels LP choosing not to renew its lease of with Spokane-based GVD Commercial Properties Inc., which bought the property in 2003. GVD affiliate Ruby Hospitality now is operating the hotel.

Assured Home Health, a Spokane-based affiliate of Lafayette, La.-based in-home skilled care provider Northeast Washington Home Health Inc., has expanded its office space at 111 W. North River Drive to 4,500 square feet, roughly doubling its square footage in the multitenant building. Thomas Hix, of NAI Black, and Hyatt Thompson, of Dallas-based Swearingen Realty Group LLC, handled the transaction.

 Spokane-based real estate holding company Espanola Partners LLC has purchased as an investment apartment complexes at 155 S. Oak and 1905 W. Second, and a fourplex, a triplex, and a duplex at 1911 W. Second, 1908 W. Third, and 1914 W. Third, respectively. Steve McIntosh, of NAI Black, and Tacoma, Wash.-based Jay Timpani, of CBRE Inc., handled the transaction.

Five Star Real Estate Group LLC, a Keller Williams Realty Inc. team, has leased 4,900 square feet of space at 12121 E. Broadway, where the company has moved from smaller quarters at 799 S. Stevens. Tim Kestell, of Kiemle Hagood, Doc Nicolson, of Five Star Real Estate Group, and Jon Jeffreys, of NAI Black, handled the transaction.

Spokane-based Dutton & Willhite Inc., which does business as Walk In Chiropractic, has leased 1,300 square feet of space at 328 N. Sullivan Road for a new chiropractic clinic. Ryan Oberg, of Goodale & Barbieri Co., and Colin Conway, of Kiemle Hagood, handled the transaction.

Equipment moving company Secure Transport Services LLC, of Hayden, has leased 3,600 square feet of office and warehouse space at 4293 W. Grange, Post Falls, where the company plans to move next month from smaller quarters at 2243 W. Dakota, in Hayden. The company specializes in moving recreational vehicles, boats, and other equipment. Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, handled the transaction.
