Inspire Physical Therapy opens in Coeur d'Alene

Sister company operates three Spokane-area clinics

November 9, 2017

Sean Sipe, owner of Spokane Occupational & Hand Therapy, has partnered with another physical therapist to open a clinic in Coeur d’Alene.

Sipe and Cara Clinton acquired some of the assets, including equipment, of the former Competitive Fitness & Physical Therapy Clinic, at 1321 Northwood Center Court, and now operate it as Inspire Physical Therapy.

Inspire Physical Therapy is the sister company to Spokane Occupational & Hand Therapy, which has three locations in the Spokane area.

Sipe says Spokane Occupational & Hand Therapy has a total of 25 employees and Inspire Physical Therapy has 15 employees.

The Coeur d’Alene clinic is located in a two-story building with a total of 3,700 square feet of space. Most of the clinic will be operated on the second floor. The clinic debuted on Nov. 1 and currently has three employees, Sipe says.

The clinic features an open and bright design, parking, and flexible scheduling for patients who need early or late appointments.

“Our treatment emphasis is on sports injuries, chronic spine injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and general orthopedic conditions,” he says.

Clinton will manage the clinic. Sipe, who grew up in Spokane, now lives in Olympia, Wash.

“Based on our estimates, we could easily have a total of 1,500 customer visits per month,” Sipe says of client traffic through both Spokane Occupation & Hand Therapy clinics and Inspire Physical Therapy.

Last March, Spokane Occupational & Hand Therapy moved its North Side clinic to newly reconstructed space at 5904 N. Mayfair, where it operates in 6,000 square feet of space in a 12,300-square-foot building near Providence Holy Family Hospital. It had been located at 111 E. Central.

The other clinics Sipe owns here are at 601 W. Fifth, near Deaconess Hospital on the lower South Hill, and at 12410 E. Sinto, in Spokane Valley, across the street from Valley Hospital.
