A new commercial construction permit has been filed with the city of Hayden for the construction of a 26,900-square-foot surgery center, according to permit information on file with the city.
Site plans call for the construction of one two-story building, to be located on about a half-acre lot at 8552 N. Government Way, in Hayden, which is four blocks east of the Walmart Supercenter, at 550 W. Honeysuckle.
The estimated construction cost is $7.5 million for the medical building, permit data shows.
Cory Trapp, of Hayden-based Longwell+Trapp Architects, the architect for the development, says the project is tentatively named the Hayden Surgery Center.
He says the final name, along with additional details including a construction timeline, will be available around the beginning of the year. He declines to provide further information.
Permit information shows the building will offer outpatient surgery and orthopedic, minor emergency, and physical therapy services.
Parking plans show three driveways and 116 parking spaces onsite.
The property is owned by Kathleen Associates LLC, a Hayden company governed by members Randall B. McIntire and Ronald B. McIntire, documents on file with the Idaho Secretary of State show.
Representatives of Kathleen Associates couldn’t be reached immediately for comment.
A representative of the contractor, Ginno Construction Co., of Coeur d’Alene, also declines to comment.
