Right of way consultant moves to Pier 1 building

Epic Land Solutions says Spokane jobs increasing

June 4, 2015
Mike McLean

Epic Land Solutions Inc., a Torrance, Calif.-based real estate consulting firm, has leased 1,700 square feet of office space in the Pier 1 Imports building, at 111 W. North River Drive, and has moved its growing Spokane-area office there, says Roxanne Grimm, the company’s Spokane-based regional manager.

Epic Land Solutions had occupied smaller quarters at 1410 N. Mullan Road, in Spokane Valley, Grimm says.

Spokane commercial real estate brokers Sam Morse, of Cantu Commercial Properties LLC, and Kevin Guthrie, of NAI Black, negotiated the lease.

Epic Land Solutions, which has had a Spokane presence for three years, specializes in right-of-way acquisitions for public entities, Grimm says.

“We work up close and personal with property owners to get (public) infrastructure in place,” she says.

Recent work includes acquisitions and negotiations regarding real estate for the North Spokane Corridor route, the planned University District pedestrian bridge, and a Pullman Airport expansion, she says.

Epic Land Solutions’ Spokane staff includes six licensed real estate brokers, Grimm says.

The company also has an office in Oregon and four offices in California.

Manufacturing & Industrial

Bella Donna LLC, of Spokane, has leased 12,200 square feet of space for a marijuana-processing facility at 411 E. Sprague. Doug Byrd, of Byrd Real Estate Group LLC, and Heidi Moon, of Windermere/Manito LLC, handled the transaction.

New Frontier Properties LLC, of Valencia, Calif., has bought as an investment a 9,600-square-foot industrial building at 3926 Schreiber Way, in Coeur d’Alene. Casey Brazil, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., and John Beutler, of Century 21 Beutler & Associates, handled the transaction.

Office & Retail

Lakeside Recovery Centers of Spokane Inc., a substance abuse and behavioral health clinic, has leased 2,400 square feet of space in a multitenant commercial center at 818 E. Sharp for a second location. It also has offices at 3710 N. Monroe. Don Jamieson, of NAI Black, and Greg Byrd, of Byrd Real Estate Group LLC, handled the transaction.

Step Up Recruiters LLC, a Coeur d’Alene-based insurance-industry executive-search firm, has leased 600 square feet of office space in the Sandalwood Business Center, at 2115 E. Sherman in Coeur d’Alene, where it has moved from a home-based office. Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, both of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, handled the transaction.

Carter Communications, a Spokane-based Boost Mobile retailer, has leased 1,400 square feet of space at 3205 N. Division for a new outlet. Colin Conway and Chad Carper, both of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction. Carter Communications also operates Boost Mobile outlets at 2401 W. Wellesley and at 12510 E. Sprague.
