Journal celebrates its 2024 class of Icons

Pioneers in health care, manufacturing among pioneers recognized

Icons is an annual Journal event that celebrates Inland Northwest business pioneers and innovators who shaped our region and positioned it to be the vibrant, prospering community it is today. Icon nominees must be living, 70 years old or older, and retired or not involved in a businesses’ day-to-day operations.

Our class of 2024 Icons is: 

Jeanne Ager: inaugural executive director of the Greater Spokane Community Foundation, now the Innovia Foundation, and co-owner of Ager Consulting Co.

Clyde Haase: former owner of Haase Landscape Inc. and House To Home co-host

Johnny Humphreys: retired CEO of Itron Inc.

Mark Sonderen: former owner and retired president of Sonderen Packaging Inc.

Nancy Vorhees: former chief operating officer of Inland Northwest Health Services

Mike Wilson: retired president and CEO of Sacred Heart Medical Center
