Spokane-based real estate firm Citibrokers has changed its name to RE/MAX Citibrokers.
“Transitioning to the RE/MAX brand is a necessary step for us to scale our business,” says co-owner and managing broker Logan Moeller. “The technology platform, marketing resources, and breadth of the network are exceptional, but, honestly, we think the brand name alone will really help propel us in the market.”
Founded in 2015 by Moeller's father, Brad Moeller, and current co-owners Aaron Cunningham, Landon Cunningham, and Nick Barnes, the brokerage will continue to operate out of its current location at 2607 S. Southeast Blvd., on Spokane’s South Hill. Moeller became an owner when his father died last year, he says.
RE/MAX Citibrokers has 17 agents who specialize primarily in residential properties, but also handle commercial properties, new construction, property management, and lending and rental portfolios.
Moeller says the company had been researching potential partnerships, or an investment in new technology, for nearly two years.
"We realized, if we don't get some better resources and tools, it's going to be really hard to grow and compete with all the big names out there," he says.
Founded in 1973, RE/MAX LLC is real estate franchise headquartered in Denver. RE/MAX's parent company, RE/MAX Holdings Inc., became a publicly traded company in 2013, with the ticker symbol RMAX.
