Spokane-based Viella LLC, which does business as Viella Brand Communications, has acquired Spokane Valley Screen Printing Inc., located at 12005 E. Trent, where the Spokane Valley-based commercial printing business will continue operations as usual, the new owners say.
Viella co-founders Jackie Callahan and Ashley Single purchased Spokane Valley Screen Printing from Pat Maguire, the son of retired co-founders Susan and Chuck Maguire, who opened the business in 1995. Callahan declines to declines to disclose the terms of the acquisition.
The new owners began the process of purchasing the Spokane Valley printing company in October 2025, Single says.
“(Pat Maguire) wanted to be a little bit choosy on who it went to, because he wanted to make sure his clients would be serviced in a great way by good people who care about the community,” Single says. “It had to be the right fit for us, for employees, … and it had to feel good. It was a no-brainer for us.”
Spokane Valley Screen Printing specializes in apparel screen printing, heat transfer, and embroidery, Callahan says.
The business serves about 200 customers in the Spokane area, Callahan adds, while Viella serves around 800 customers nationally and internationally and has employees and printers in Oregon, California, Ohio, Texas, and West Virginia, she says.
Spokane Valley Screen Printing will rebrand to Viella Brand Communications within a year, Callahan says. All employees, in addition to the company's phone number, physical location, and services will remain in place. The acquisition will bring new services such as banner printing, packaging, labeling, merch printing, and more.
Callahan and Single established Viella, a print and promotional products company, in August 2025 after the pair worked together in for five years at another company in the printing industry. The acquisition is Viella’s first, but the company plans to expand through several more acquisitions in the coming years, Callahan says.
Viella will take advantage of further expansions in Spokane County as more opportunities became available.
“We are open to any and all opportunities at this point,” Callahan says. “We plan to do at least one acquisition a year for the next five years and want to expand greatly.”
