The City of Coeur d’Alene has issued a building permit for a Jack in the Box restaurant to be built in the CrossRoads Coeur d’Alene retail center, which is anchored by a WinCo Foods grocery store, in northwest Coeur d’Alene.

Feast Foods LLC, of Murrieta, Calif., is the listed in building permit information as the owner of the project, which is valued at $610,000.

Radix Construction Inc., of Nampa, Idaho, is the contractor and architect on the project. Work will include constructing a 3,000-square-foot restaurant building with a drive-thru lane and a 25-space parking lot at 2754 N. Ramsey Road, in the west central portion of the 16-acre CrossRoads Coeur d’Alene development, building permit information shows.

Ben Eramya, of Murrieta, who owns Feast Foods, says the restaurant will have 35 to 40 employees when it opens in July.

Feast Foods operates 170 franchise Jack in the Box restaurants in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California, including all of the Jack in the Box restaurants in Eastern Washington and Idaho, Eramya says.

The CrossRoads Coeur d’Alene retail center is being developed northeast of the Interstate 90-Northwest Boulevard interchange by Hughes Investments Inc., of Newport Beach, Calif.

The 71,000-square-foot WinCo store and parking lot, which opened in November at 1482 W. Appleway, take up 9 acres of the development.

Meridian Construction Inc., of Spokane Valley, is completing work on two smaller multitenant retail structures there with a total of 17,500 square feet of floor space. 

Tenants in the structures will include a Pita Pit restaurant, a Subway restaurant, a Starbucks coffee shop, and a Supercuts haircut outlet.

Liberty Lake-based Spokane Teachers Credit Union also has announced plans to construct a 3,500-square foot, freestanding branch building with three drive-thru lanes there this year or in early 2015.

A site plan posted on Hughes Investments’ website shows potential pad sites for two additional stand-alone buildings at CrossRoads Co.
