Avista Corp. has reported first-quarter net income of $79 million, or $0.98 per diluted share, up from $71 million, or $0.91 per share, in the year-earlier quarter.

Spokane Valley-based Key Tronic Corp. has reported a net loss of $604,000, or $6 cents per diluted share, for the company’s  fiscal-year 2025 third quarter, which ended March 29. 

Closed single-family home sales in the Spokane area totaled 483 in April, down just two sales, or 0.4%, from the same month last year, according to the latest market snapshot posted through the Spokane Association of Realtors’ Multiple Listing Service.

Coeur d’Alene-based Hecla Mining Co. reported first-quarter net income of $28.9 million, an increase over the year-earlier quarter net loss of $5.8 million.

Itron Inc. posted Q1 net income of about $65.4 million, or $1.42 per diluted share, a roughly $14 million increase over the same quarter last year.

Clearwater Paper Corp. has reported a first-quarter net loss of $6.3 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, a decline from the year-earlier quarter when the Spokane-based paperboard manufacturer posted net income of $17.2 million, or $1.03 per share.
