Dominos franchisee to build retail structure in Spokane Valley

Pacific Pie to break ground on project next month

June 7, 2018
LeAnn Bjerken

Pacific Pie Inc., the Spokane-based Domino’s Pizza franchisee, plans to develop a multitenant retail structure at 604 S. Sullivan Road.

The $900,000 project is being designed by Spokane-based Mercier Architecture & Planning, and Yost Gallagher Construction LLC, also of Spokane, is the contractor.

Project manager Jeff Gallagher says the project currently is in the design phase, but the developer hopes to submit building permit application information to the city of Spokane Valley in coming weeks.

Gallagher says predevelopment plans include construction of a single-story, 6,000-square-foot retail building, with up to four tenant suites, one of those being for a Domino’s Pizza outlet.

He says the construction likely would begin early next month and last through the first part of fall.

Commercial real estate broker Chad Carper, of Spokane-based Kiemle Hagood, is listed as the leasing agent for the property.

He also confirmed Pacific Pie is working with a local contractor on a $150,000 remodel of the 3,000-square-foot, former Hamilton Mart at 1320 N. Hamilton, for use as another Domino’s outlet.

Carper says that project will likely be completed in September.
