Auto glass shop to relocate in northeast Spokane

Business to move next year, change its name

December 7, 2017
Samantha Peone

Import & Domestic Auto Glass, of Spokane, is buying a building at 1425 E. Francis and plans to move there next month from smaller quarters at a residential location in the Bigelow Gulch area, says owner Sergey Davydenko.

The sale is scheduled to be completed on Dec. 15, he says.

Davydenko says the Francis Avenue location has 6,200 square feet of space, including office space and a shop.

With the move, Davydenko also will change the name of the business to Jacob’s Auto Glass, which he says is more well known in the Spokane area.

A current Jacob’s Auto Glass shop operates in Vista Industrial Park, at 111 N. Vista Road, in Spokane Valley. Davydenko says his brother, Jacob, owns that shop.

The two brothers will continue to operate their businesses separately, but they will both be doing business as Jacob’s Auto Glass, he says.

Services include replacement, repair, and installation of car and truck windshields and windows.

Import & Domestic Auto Glass opened in 1996. It operated out of Sacramento, Calif., for most of that time and has been based in Spokane for about three years, says Davydenko.

Steve Senescall, Choice Plus Realty LLC, which does business as Choice Realty, is handling the transaction.
